Historical Period of Stephanie

June 2nd, 2001 (the day she had her dream) - present day.

Her inspiration started from just a simple dream of a vampire and a girl laying in a meadow, and whom were deeply in love. To me this dream sounds to dream like but her words in the novel make up for the rather no-realistic feel. Although she did attend a secondary school and obtained a Bachelors degree in English, she had no real intentions on becoming a world famous author. The reason being is that she had children to take care of and that alone is hectic enough.

She would think about her dream during the day while doing all her motherly chores then at night, write what she couldn't, otherwise, get out of her head! Many long nights led to 3 months and one finished novel. Her very supportive sister then convinced Stephenie to turn in her rough draft to any publishing company who would even read over it. After lots of surprising events and editing, Little, Brown the publishing company loved her draft and agreed to publish it. By 2005 her first novel Twilight became famous (New York's Best Seller) as did Stephanie.

 A Little More About Meyer

Stephenie Meyer grew up in a large family of seven and met her husband when she was just six years old, while at church. More then sixteen years later she ended up marrying her husband, Pancho, and had three little boys, Eli, Seth, and Gabe. She went to Brigham Young University, in Provo, Utah, where she majored in English. Although she did not intend to become a huge best seller, the main reason she went for her English degree was so that she could read. Stephenie loved reading and would every chance she could get.
